Application to sit for the Comprehensive Examination

It is highly recommended that you take your exam in the semester that you plan to graduate, as having all coursework underway or completed will maximize your likelihood of success on the exam.

Important Registration Information:

We realize this is a very important exam for those who are graduating.   This page is intended to make the registration process as easy as possible.  There are three different places in which you will register for the exam.   Please follow the directions completely in the following order.  
  1. Register with the COU Office.  Complete the form below (at the bottom of the page) and submit it to the COU Office.  This tells us that you are intending to take the exam.   It must be submitted by Friday, February 28, 2021
  2. Register with the EKU Registrar.  A CRN Number will be emailed to you from the COU Office after your application to take the exam has been approved.  This step allows the exam to show up on your official EKU transcript.  It shows you have satisfied the requirements and have taken the exam. 
  3. Register for the actual CPCE Exam. Deadline to register is Friday, February 28, 2021
  • Step 1.  Go to the CPCE registration link and fill out the required informationhttps://www.cce-global.org/registration/cpce_apb_welcome. Deadline to register is Friday, February 28, 2021 and is strictly enforced. 
  • Step 2.  Once you have registered, you will receive an "Authorization to Test" email from Pearson VUE within 7 business days. (*Be sure to check your spam and junk folders.) The email will contain your candidate ID number.
  • Step 3.  AFTER you receive the email from Pearson VUE, go to their website to create an account and continue following the instructions provided.  http://www.pearsonvue.com/cce/ap/
